Vocational guidance is essential for students, especially in rural public schools in El Salvador, where many lack the support to envision their future.

The “Avancemos Juntas y Juntos” program by ABESUCHI focuses on implementing a psycho-emotional process that equips students with the tools needed to project a successful future and personal growth. Participants also receive detailed information about universities and their admission processes, whether public or private.

The program culminates in the University Fair “Avancemos Juntas y Juntos,” which gathers over 300 high school students, providing a space to explore academic offerings and connect with various institutions.

Participant Testimonials:

  • “The event was super interesting. We can attend several universities, and they explained the programs we’re interested in. I found the degree I had in mind and am now committed to studying Tourism and Gastronomy.”
  • “The event was well-organized. It’s an opportunity for students to connect with peers of their age and educational level. This space motivates and inspires us to pursue a university degree, which is much needed in our country.”

The program currently serves 310 high school students from six rural schools in the Suchitoto district and one national institute, fostering opportunities for academic growth and future success.
