Transforming Lives, One Book at a Time

April 14, 2025

Partner: Chispa Project, Honduras

Since 2023, Chispa Project has impacted over 3,800 students in Santa Cruz de Yojoa, San Francisco de Yojoa, and Cañaveral, Cortés by establishing three fully equipped school libraries, each containing between 900 and 1,400 books.

With an investment of $53,307 USD, the project has shown that reading can change lives.

The commitment of families, teachers, and school staff has been key to ensuring the sustainability and success of these libraries, transforming them into vibrant spaces for learning and community.

And the good news doesn’t stop there—in 2025, Chispa Project will open a fourth library in San Buenaventura! This new phase will benefit over 300 students and extend the impact for another three years.

With every book, Chispa Project sparks hope, building a future where access to education and a love for reading are shared rights across the entire community.
