Partner: FUSAL, El Salvador
FUSAL held the National Volunteer Gathering, an event that celebrated the invaluable impact of community volunteers in advancing early childhood development in El Salvador.
More than 300 volunteers came together to strengthen their leadership, creativity, and teamwork skills—key elements to amplifying their impact in rural communities.

Thanks to their dedication, FUSAL’s Early Childhood Program continues to grow through Nutripuntos—community spaces where young children and families receive nutrition support and early stimulation activities
One of the most exciting moments of the event was the launch of “Círculo”, a new mobile app designed to connect community volunteers with FUSAL.
This digital tool will enhance communication and enable real-time reporting of activities, making it easier for volunteers to carry out their work in the field.
Currently, FUSAL has over 460 active volunteers across 17 districts in Sonsonate, Ahuachapán, Usulután, La Libertad, and Morazán. Together, they operate 165 Nutripuntos, serving 5,963 children under five and 269 pregnant women.
