Partner: Azul Originario, El Salvador
Through the Regional Program on the Rights of Children and Adolescents in Central America, Asociación Azul Originario took education and mental health to the next level with six traveling exhibitions in San Salvador, Santa Ana, and San Miguel.
More than 400 participants—including children, teens, and families—explored their rights, emotions, and healthy coexistence strategies through play and community interaction.

Four interactive stations turned learning into a unique experience:
- The Lake – Participants “fished” for messages related to emotional well-being and teamwork, placing them into matching fishbowls to identify practices that support social and emotional health.
- A Small Great Story – A storytelling station focused on conflict resolution and assertive decision-making.
- The Emotions – Using cards with real-life scenarios, participants identified emotions and represented them with colored balls. By collecting them, they reflected on which emotions dominated and how to manage them effectively.
- Chef Djembé – Participants created “dishes” using ingredients that represented emotions from their daily experiences.
These exhibitions showed that playful learning strengthens life skills and helps build healthier, more aware communities that value mental health and children’s rights.
