Partner: Warriors Zulu, Honduras
Through a partnership between ODEF and Warriors and with support from the Global Fund for Children, Svalorna Latinoamérica, and FOCUS Centroamérica Foundation, a safe space has been established in the Suyapa Anach neighborhood of Chamelecón, Honduras.
This hub hosts artistic and athletic activities, fostering gender resilience and a climate-conscious perspective among children, adolescents, youth, and mothers.
In 2024, 158 children, adolescents, and youth participated in artistic and athletic workshops. Additionally, over 2,751 community members attended “Jams,” cultural events where Casa Cultural Warriors students showcased their skills and acquired knowledge.
Casa Cultural Warriors is a shining example of how partnerships between the private sector, civil society, and community leadership can generate a transformative impact.
This joint effort empowers young people to play an active role in their communities’ sustainable development, creating opportunities for growth and positive change.
