The Asociación de Estudios y Proyectos de Esfuerzo Popular (EPRODEP) proudly celebrates 30 years of supporting children and adolescents. This initiative was born in response to gaps and failures in the educational system, where both public and private schools often excluded parents from actively participating in their children’s education, limiting critical involvement in their development process.

EPRODEP’s model integrates key components such as:

  • Human rights
  • Gender equity
  • Prevention of gender-based violence
  • Comprehensive sexuality education
  • Advocacy for public policies supporting children and youth
  • Environmental caresolidarity economy, entrepreneurship, and employability

Each component aims to provide young people with a holistic education focused on their rights and responsibilities.

Through its “Protagonism of Children and Adolescents” project, EPRODEP offers a space for personalized support that builds on each young participant’s life experiences, abilities, and needs. This approach fosters community-focused and personal development, equipping them with new skills and knowledge.

The organization utilizes art and ludo-pedagogy—an educational methodology based on play and social interaction—to encourage integral learning and enable children and adolescents to actively and inclusively engage in their communities.

Currently, EPRODEP supports 199 children and adolescents, including 30 with disabilities, transforming lives and strengthening the social fabric. The program fosters a more conscious, inclusive generation prepared to tackle the challenges of their environment.
