Planting Seeds Expands: 5 New Schools

This year marks an exciting milestone—Planting Seeds is expanding its reach to five new communities in Guatemala, bringing high-quality early childhood education to 102 more children.

Thanks to strategic partnerships and collaboration with local organizations, the program has reached Zone 3 of Guatemala City, San Martín Jilotepeque, Santa Apolonia, and Cobán. This achievement is the result of months of preparation, teacher training, and the setup of safe, stimulating learning environments.

But their commitment goes beyond expansion: Ongoing support for teachers through monthly visits and personalized guidance, parent training on positive parenting, reading, and home routines and a holistic approach that ensures learning extends beyond the classroom.

For Planting Seeds, transformative education begins in early childhood. And this is just the beginning of a year full of impact, opportunity, and growth for the entire educational community.
