Women Leading the Future of Coffee in Honduras

With support from the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, and in collaboration with the Municipality of Cantarranas, IHCAFE, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Educate2Envision (E2E) is empowering 40 young women from coffee-growing communities in Honduras through technical training and entrepreneurship education.

This project equips them with key tools to improve coffee production, marketing, and sustainability—enabling them not only to strengthen their businesses but also to carve out a place in a sector traditionally led by men.

This initiative not only enhances the sustainability of Honduran coffee but also breaks gender barriers and creates new economic opportunities for rural women, ensuring a more equitable, innovative, and prosperous future for the coffee industry.
